InnOFoodLabs

InnOFoodLabs is a Horizon Europe project that strengthens organic food value chains across Europe by promoting locally driven innovation, collaboration and knowledge exchange. It brings together farmers, businesses, researchers, advisers, consumers and public actors to co create solutions that enhance the sustainability, resilience and economic viability of organic food systems.
Running from September 2025 to August 2029, the project supports over 20 innovations through 12 regional Living Labs in 9 European countries. These Living Labs address key challenges such as small scale processing, eco friendly packaging, stronger farmer–processor cooperation and innovative ways of delivering organic food to consumers, supported by a Community of Practice that fosters peer learning and cross border exchange.
InnOFoodLabs is aligned with the EU Organic Action Plan, contributing to the expansion of organic farming while strengthening regional food systems.
 

Approach and Collaboration with OH-FINE

• To foster continuous knowledge exchange and learning, the Community of Practice will host nine international webinars, bringing together participants from across Europe to share insights, challenges, and best practices.

• Twelve inspiring Study Tours will open the doors of each Living Lab to an international audience, offering a first-hand look at real-world innovation in action.

• In addition, each participating country will organise two national meetings or workshops annually – one online and one in-person – delivered in the local language and tailored to regional food system needs and innovation priorities.

InnOFoodLabs is willing to organise joint activities, such as capacity building events and knowledge exchange opportunities with OH-FINE project.
